No artist works alone but rather with the gifts of a vast and abundant world of matter, materials and objects but how often do we consider the materials we use and how do we develop our relationship with those materials as we practice our art forms?

In this session, interdisciplinary artist, Jem Mellor, looks at the co-productive relationship between artists and object and explores ways in which we can develop our relationships with our instruments and materials, to create work that respectfully acknowledges our material counterparts and the stories they have to share.
